JORGE PECCI is a proven and motivated insurance executive with domestic and international expertise in building a profitable book of commercial lines businesses.
With over 20 years of insurance experience, Jorge has earned a reputation as a strong communicator and listener with outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills. Jorge has extensive experience in the development, management and implementation of business plans and strategy including marketing, underwriting, loss control and claims.
Most recently, Jorge held an executive role with a major international carrier for marine insurance in the Americas as well as Specialty Lines and Casualty insurance for Latin America. In this capacity, he managed a team of 90 underwriters and managers.
Jorge is fluent in English and Spanish and possesses a speaking and understanding of Portuguese. Jorge holds a BS in Maritime Transportation, a Post-graduate diploma in Marine Surveying and a Masters in Maritime Law (UK). Before his career in insurance he served at sea in the Merchant Marine as a Deck Officer ending his oceangoing career as Master Mariner.
RAY STAHL is a well-known and respected worldwide leader in the recreational marine insurance market with a proven track record for building profitable books of business, quickly identifying and acting on both issues and opportunities, and providing innovative solutions in a rapidly changing environment.
With over 30 years of insurance experience, Ray has worked in many areas of insurance including finance. This broad knowledge enables him to have a clear and unique understanding of the short and long term impact of any financial decision. Ray’s last 20 years have been in recreational marine through all types of markets including the storms of 2004/2005 which confirmed Ray’s belief in the need for a comprehensive catastrophe management plan, and demonstrated his ability to develop both strategic and tactical plans required to be successful.
Ray’s most recent position was as the head of worldwide recreational marine business for AIG. Over a short period of time, Ray developed the business from a start-up to a major player in the market both internationally and domestically.
Ray has a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a MBA in Finance from Drexel University. Ray is a former Chairman of the Pleasurecraft committee for AIMU.
